Looks great Butch. Very crisp lines on those deep grinds and beautiful finish all over.

That thing is very pretty.

Also, the Kitchen knife you posted in February looks great. I don't see where the steel is mentioned, though.

I like your polished edges.

Is the license to drill in your signature a reference to the spyderhole?

Went to the knife show suggested by Butch, didn't see him there, but did chat with a bladeforums active member. Took the 9 y.o. son. I bought him a spyderco bug for $5 and a handmade knife by a really nice guy from N.C. named J.B. Hege. Sons always get an affordable (under $200)custom when they go to a show with me. Didn't see anything I had to have, but did handle a Ti Lum Chinese folder (for $200). Sweet knife. Sons always get an affordable custom when they go to a show with me. Stopped at a local gunshop and had a flawless EAA .45 bought out from under me--I was there first, but the owner ignored me an helped a guy who came in 10 minutes later,...
Other news, due to DA Vance's ridiculous shenanigans, the East Coast Custom Knife Show will reportedly now be held in Secaucus, NJ, instead of NYC. Yuck. More on that in a separate post.

Beautiful! Great job - you're very talented. How the heck do you keep all the sanding the same direction on the guard? Very nice work. Nice tribute, too.

- best wishes, Jazz.
