How About a Fixed Blade Millie?

I just got my Para 2, and love it almost as much as my left-hand millie, which just means I haven't had it as long. They (and the original Para) all have great ergonomics and blade shape.

The two knives suggest to me a third possibility - could there ever be a fixed blade version? A flat ground pointy S30V blade, maybe 4 1/2 to 5" blade length, full tang, black G-10 scales, (or desert tan) "skull crusher" pommel, and a high-tech molded sheath of some sort.

I carry and use my Millie or my Para 2 every day, when I'm around town, at home and at work, and would love it if there were a fixed blade version for hunting, camping and hiking/climbing.

Probably the easiest way is to get a Strider fixed blade in FFG Drop Point.

Temperance II would be the closest thing.

I have thought of a fixed blade version of lots of Spydercos, Military included.

I guess if you felt like ghetto-rigging one, you could just take a Millie and JB Weld it in the open position.

All it takes is at most a 1/4 turn of the pivot :p

I would say the Temperance II looks pretty close.

You could probably reprofile a Mule to have a blade shape similar to a Military.

Yes, and the Temperance 1 and 2 are close, it's true; but I was hoping that the good folks at Spyderco might consider someday making an actual fixed blade version of the Millie, with a flat ground S30V blade. I can just see it on the cover of Tactical Knives magazine right now! Even better, on my belt in the woods... :p
