Does anybody know if there will be any sprint runs of this knife? Different steel or colored g-10?

I think a gray G-10 with a Carpenter steel and a CF with S90V are planned. CF is supposed to be out by year's end. Someone correct me if I imagined that.

You're remembering correctly, jackthedog. I'm going to make my first Para the gray CTS-20CP one!

The C81GGY20CP2 is a Para-Military2 with Gray G-10 scales and CTS-20CP (Carpenter's equivalent to S90V). The C81GGY20CP2 will be a 2011 release.

What about a normal Para2 with DigiCam handles?

I plan on doing the same, as long as the price is <$125. I might even the digi camo one, I guess it depends on how good they look and price

It has been out since 2nd half of July...ish It's just that they've been incredibly popular and have been out of stock for a while.

Good to know I'm not losing my mind. Looks like a great knife. I hope it gets in stock soon. I'd love to get my hands on one. And the Sprints.

IMO, I highly suggest buying one as soon as they're available. The ergos on it are absolutely perfect, at least for my hand (7" end of middle finger to bottom of palm and 3.25" palm width). Also came super sharp, as with all Spydercos. I'm lucky I found them in stock at Knife Center and impulsively bought one while I could.

The main reason why I am still holding out on clicking the button is that I'm still waiting for a DigiCam handles and the sprint runs. I am still wondering if I should buy the normal black g-10 now or wait for a likeable sprint run... so many choices! and running out of patience!
Anybody know if there is going to be an Orange handle production?

I was using my Para 2 today fine-tuning some MDF moulding prior to installation. Although 4mm at the tang, it is very thin behind the edge and it cuts wonderfully, very controllable.
The wear resistance of S90V or the Carpenter equivalent would be very nice in a working blade. I need to make some more money so that I can justify another P2. The Para 2 is my favorite locking folder of all time.

It is due out within a couple of weeks according to a post by E. Glesser last week in this
thread. I don't know how many dealers still have unsold deliverables for this run; probably not many. SFO will have some at MSRP.

Yeah, as far as I know, pretty much all the pre-orders are already closed.

Someone who really wanted the S90V sprint and didn't get a dealer pre-order at a discount.
