Stupid gun ate the spyder Money!... Whats your $ gone to of late, lol
yesterday i kept myself from purchasing a few spydies at the gun show to buy my new fnp 45 usg! All i can say is at least i didn't have to sell any knives to buy it! wHAT IS UR LATEST PURCHASE THAT KEPT U FROM A SPYDIE OF CHOICE?
Mine's been going into my mountain bike. Bought clipless pedals, shoes, shorts, a new chain and some tools. Then I broke my front derailleur so I'm in the process of replacing both derailleurs. I haven't sold any knives specifically to fund this but I have been selling off a lot of knives because I'm in the process of 'paring down' my collection to where I only have knives that I actually use and enjoy using. If everything I have on Ebay now sells I'll be down from a high of 15-20 knives to just 3: Spyderco Sage II, Spyderco G10 D'fly, and Spyderco Stretch II. Although I do have a TI Military on pre-order. And I want a Chokwe at some point.
mines been going into the my truck. had a new magnaflow muffler installed last week, ordered an SS tip the other day, had power locks done last week and then an alarm today.
probably could have bought several new spydies with the money, but its nice to spend money on other things for a change lol

Medical bill for my daughter.
I had to sell about 40 Spydercos to help cover it.
I don't like putting stuff like that on credit card. Walked in paid cash.

Yup - medical bills for my girlfriend ... took about 30 different tests before they worked out what she had was a chest infection and laryngitis  Still, you've got to stay healthy - otherwise what else do you have left? Should be in the black this month though so will squirrel away some money for the next purchases :D
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)
*Sigh* I had to let go a few CF models. They went to friends or people who wil look after them.
I can barely fill half a large Spydrpack now with users. I have a few set aside that I just won't get rid of.
Thankfully Spyderco is popular on the secondary market and make a wickedly fine product.

Next up for me is a laptop repair, the hinge blew out on my 17" about 6 months ago and I'm finally getting around to replacing the chassis. Looks like I'll be out about $400 for that.

Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.

Just dropped $2200 for my daughter's wisdom teeth extraction, my wife's prescriptions are $500 per month and, while I have Medicare driving into Seattle with the attendant ferry tolls costs me about $100 a pop and I've gone a lot lately.
So on my last trip to the doctor I brought a bunch of old cymbals to sell at a drum shop and ended up trading some for this drum set:

Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Sad to hear a couple posters are selling to pay medical bills. But, I'm glad you were able to get the dough.
It's a rack-grade M1 from the CMP that I picked out, did the accurization with some ingenuity, help from some folks I know for reference material, and left over materials around the house (you can read about it here: http://ohioccwforums.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=44012 ).
I'm waiting for my medical bill to show up. I'm waiting for the hospital to send the bill for the hernia surgery, and am putting a vast majority of my income to paying off credit card debt. Not counting the medical bill, I'm on track to be debt free prior to December.
I sold off unused knives, guns, etc. - will be picking up an AK74 and 4.3K rounds of ammo this week and a new Spydie this week, which should allow me to do carbine courses next year for cheap.
I'm in talks with an AR manufacturer about being a T+E for an upcoming AR10, so hopefully the precision rifle courses I teach will be quite nice :D
