I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I was learning a new balisong trick, and cut myself pretty freakin bad while watching a CutleryLover Video on youtube. Check it out, it's pretty wicked.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPSlRfSPNoY

I've cut myself deep enough to see fat and to be able to see the layers of skin and watch the blood bead up on the layers. You know it's super bad when it doesn't really hurt very much. Kudos to whoever first thought of stitches lol.

To me thats a boo boo.I have had to work many jobs with industrial cutters or knives.I cut the tip off my left thumb with a saw(its 1/4 inch shorter, nail keeps falling off) 20 years ago,and other finger tips had stitches.Several fingerprints(and left thumb-Duh!) are obviously damaged on my CCW Fingerprint card. The finger prints dont line up on opposite sides of the cuts. One time my silly drunk *** cut myself 3-4 times showing my girlfriend how sharpen a knife.Next day I was all right-literally.She asked me to sharpen it, did'nt realize I had been drinking. She took the knife away from me like a small child with a toy beyond their age group. They need a beer called Buddumber-I don't get wiser when I drink. They are dangerous if you are not careful. Now I just get burned every couple of weeks at work haha and cut every year or so-no stitches in about 8 years-WOW! I really have improved with age/time.

Heh, yeah, to borrow a phrase from a famous movie, "it's only a flesh wound." :D My most recent accident involved severing an artery while the rest of my family was out of the country, leaving me no choice but to dial 911. The PD thought there had been a homicide and were very hesitant to entertain other explanations. :(

Yeah, that is unfortunate. Glad to hear it is healing properly. I actually cut myself last week. No where near as severely, however. The SOG Aegis Tanto I purchased as a gift for my brother's birthday had shown up. I was playing with the assisted opener.... while surfing porn on my laptop, hahaha! Next thing I know I had sliced my left index finger pretty deeply. I was actually holding the blade in my left hand with it inserted in my finger before I looked down and noticed what I was doing. Obviously it was a great clip!

I learned two very important lessons from this....

1) Do not EVER multitask when surfing porn on the internet (nothing wrong with playing with a new knife)
2) Never ever again purchase a knife that isn't a SPYDERCO!!! Cause karma is a B#*@%!!!!!

In case you didn't know selling/buying is prohibited on this forum, for those matters just use PMs, ok?
