Just wanted to send a quick shout out to Charlynn in the warranty dept.
I recently dealt with her and she was awesome-professional and kind.
Sal, I hope that you appreciate this lady.
Please share this post with her.
She made my day.
Thanks!

Hey, Charlynn recently took care of my Manix 2 XHP and Blue Delica 4 FFG. She did a great job fixing the lock on my XHP and sharpening my Delica. Also, she was very nice to deal with on the phone.
Truly a world class people person.
Thank you Charlynn!

I would like to add to this as well. I have dealt with her over email messages; she has always been polite, patient, kind, answered all my answers promptly and without any hint of malice [ pls take note of the smile for this word :) ]. She has top notch customer service skills, and I e-mailed CS to let them know that. And here I am again to boast about her customer service skills, she really is an awesome example of what a CS rep should be.

the people at spyderco that i have had conversations with have been most polite and helpful. the products show a similar excellence. it is obvious to me that more companies should study how spyderco does things. honestly most of the replies on this forum are also polite and there is lots of knowledge.
Definitely agree with you there. I almost think its a part of their philosophy: Give credit where credit is due; and being the top of the line not only in knives but in other aspects as well [in this topic- customer service]. I mean look at the sage series of knives. Who else [companies I mean] gives this type of credit? and actually gives the credit to what function they are using? COUGH Benchmade calls the framelock their "mono-lock design", which it isn't its a chris reeve integral lock. But whatever :p COUGH. But yes, hopefully she sees this thread so she knows how much her CS [customer service not counter-strike :p , although I admit its almost like a "counter-strike" with customer service haha, ok back on topic] skills affect others, and to note that it does matter, and that it really is top notch.
