Hi Cheygriz,

I believe we have a knife in-the-works with Carpenter CTS-20CP.

Sorry 'bout that. I think it's the new Paramilitary2, carbon fiber scales.

Forgive my ignorance but I have heard everyone saying that S90V is good but what are its characteristics? Why is it better than, say, CPM-S30V? :)
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

It's about the most wear resistant thing out there. 9% vanadium.
On order: Maxamet Native 5
Current pocket hog: S90V Para2
Next up: Something Blurple

Interesting ... so similar to ZDP-189 but more Vanadium ... so does that mean that it has as much edge-retension as ZDP-189 but better corrosion resistance?

Thanks Ken - very interesting - sounds like a really high-end steel ... if Carpenter's is anything close then I'd love to see a UKPK made out of it :D

I wonder why there haven't been any UKPK sprint runs (or have there and I've just missed em all?) I believe a CF and a Titan version are coming out, but with S30V.
