got my manix 2 yesterday in the mail.seems like it might be larger than i like but carries well.i carry in my left pocket so i switched the clip to the other side.my delica stainless just got relegated to the safe i'm thinkin.

That was my experience, and seems common. The common response is that the Manix 2 "shrinks." In no time at all, it should feel just the right size!

Congrats on the new knife.
I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

I thought I would never move away from my Endura... but after carrying a Manix2 for only a couple days, I keep gong back to it day after day :)
Now I have the Manix2 HXP PE, so I carry it and my Endura SE :)

Welcome to the forum texascolt45. Are you referring to the size in hand or carry? Is the Manix 2 your first Spyderco? I have four of them myself and they are my main knife. Very well made.

i've got a delica,dragonfly,cricket,spin,an od endura i got on sale and a 75mm persian.plus i had an etched cricket i gave to a g/f of mine.forgot an older g-2 black endura.

The blade could have been longer - it's "embarrassing" that such a large knife only has 2 7/8" cutting edge :rolleyes: ... again, we need the large Manix!

The current Manix 2 and a Manix 2 XL will make a great pair! :cool:
