I just really looked it over for the first time on the knifecenter site, and I gotta say that is one pretty knife. I think I will hold off my purchses until it gets released. I would assume pretty soon since they have them up now.

I think it looks nice, but I will probably hold off on it; it just doesn't float my boat. Something just seems off with the shape of it.

I will wait for the reviews to come in as well. Looks too similar to the Resilience, which is similar to the Tenacious, which is a knife that I don't really like. I'm not really sure about the weird sort of halfway there thumb ramp. We'll see.

Really liked it when I first saw it but kinda not digging the really boxy leaf shape blade anymore. Still I think its a pretty sweet knife.

Slightly shorter blade than the CF Stretch, in a slightly longer handle. Heavier by almost 30 grams. Two position clip instead of four and a (wrong) handed lock. I'll pass.

I can't wait for it.
I adore the Superhawk so a more traditional work blade with a MBC rated lock is going to be quite sexy.
I knew there was a reason I was holding out on an AFI Manix 2. :D Different strokes for different folks...and that one works for me.

Whew! I was starting to think I had bad taste.

The design is not really doing anything for me either.

The design looks a little weird, but it looks super comfortable to me, and ergonomics is king with a tool. I also love the lock.

The handle is super comfortable but a bit wider than the Manix2 based on my Suoerhawk. It should be in that mid 4oz range too.
Don't get me wrong, the Manix2 is amazing! In hand it's ergos are insane. I just think the Superhawk/Leaf edges it out just slightly with a more aggressive tail and more curvy handle. It feels a little more secure per grip tension for me personally.
Your mileage will vary of course. I'm definitely not saying A vs B. I wish the blade was an aggressive drop point like the M2 tho.
PS: comparing ergonomics between the Manix2, Stretch, and Superhawk in my opinion is like comparing the Porsche GT3, Corvette ZR1, and Nissan GTR R35. You can't lose and they are all too **** good for the money! :)

Different strokes...
I'm getting one for sure. This and the paramil 2 look to be great hard use folders.

This is my most anticipated new release, I have begged Sal to put a leaf blade in the Superhawk handle even before the Superleaf was announced, so it is kind of a dream come true. And the fact that it retains the Comp Lock of the Superhawk is a big plus. I just wish they end up making a Sprint in some premium steel some day, with CF scales.

I like it. The handle looks good and I really like the compression lock when I use my Para. Between the Para2 and the Leaf you have two neat choices.

Handled it a lot at BLADE and it felt great in-hand. The only issue was it being slightly heavy.

130 dollars seems a bit steep when you can get a something like the Sage 1 for cheaper and with superior materials. Still it's on my wishlist because its got everything I look for in a knife and compression lock is a huge plus as well. I guess the real question is Superleaf or Para 2 first?
