Ya i think it will be the same thing as the black military's,that black will scratch and I don't like scratched up blades!

I'm super excited about this model. Black blades just rub me the right way and the blacked-out hardware is interesting to see.
It really needs a goblin version. Orange handles with black blade/hardware would be killer. :D

Agreed with spoonrobot. Orange scales would be cool. red would be pretty sweet, too. I could see there being an opportunity for custom scale makers here, as I'd imagine with all the Manix variants out and coming out it could be awhile before a set of Manixes are put out strictly for the purpose of looking cool with the black hardware :p

I agree with both of your statements...
I love blacked out knives and don't mind the character marks I give them
