Looks beautiful, nice work. Black hardware would be the icing on the cake. Don't know, if it is possible to acid wash the hardware too.

Hi Alvin welkom to the forum. The scales were made by cuscadi in germany easy to google and i can only recommend them they do a great job every time i buy from them.

Anodized the pocket clip on the Smock with a torch instead of acid etching like I did my PM2 and Chaparral. I couldn't capture it in a photo, but when you shift it in the light there's blues and purples in the golden copper color. I don't care for the retention or how high the knife carries with this clip and I feel like I'm going to lose it if I don't swap it out so I have a Lynch deep carry clip on the way as a replacement.
I also removed the 2nd detent ball very shortly after receiving the knife and am much happier with the action this way. The knife will open if you drop it quick then introduce a sudden pause/stop but I consider this a benefit because the knife always fully deploys and I am completely confident that it will not open in my pocket. I checked the local laws for my state and this knife doesn't violate any of them with the 2nd detent removed, I recommend you do the same if you decide to remove it.
