Put a small sharpening notch in my ZDP dragonfly today. The plunge grind took up the first like, 3mm of blade and starting looking pretty wonky after sharpening. Only took about 15 minutes with a brown sharpmaker rod too! :D

Very very crude and first mod. Testing my more budget friendlies first. Was straightening the spine on the tenacious but ran out of time. Also added a finger choil. The indent on the G10 is just a test for texturing. More to come. After work tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing the mods on this one!

Forgot about this thread! Nothing crazy, just a few of my more recent scale swaps.

Love this knife! Wanted to dress her up a bit though. Found a local shop that could laser engrave the design I came up with. Found a nice Ukrainian embroidery pattern, then added a bug into the design. (look closely). I brought my Mantra for them to test to see what setting to put the laser at so I got a couple bonus bugs out of it too! Adds a little grip to the scales as well as looking amazing, imo.

I see some nice modifications here! Mine is small, it is a laser-burned skull on a knife used every day at work. I've always wanted to be a photographer, but I'm an electrician :D

Happy with how this simple mod turned out. The knife functions much better and its a pretty clean job for my first attempt at this with power tools:

New here. Wanted to share some pics of my custom Roc. Hand carved wood scales. Carved them from an old wine box. Made a backspacer out of the the old scales too!

Edit: the lighting on the video really throws off the color of the scales. They’re a bit darker than that.
