Show your mods!
Re: Show your mods!
I wish that's how the Pacific Salt came from the factory!
Re: Show your mods!
My favorite EDC. It started life as a black FRN UKPK. First I swapped out the FRN for Cuscadi smooth jade/natural g10 handles. Just today I performed my first RIT dye job with DyeMore Peacock Green:

Stellar job with the dye job...! Completely changes the visuals with this knife. Looks like you did a bit of something to the hardware too! NICE!

Another tweak to my clip point Amalgam, took a little off the guard to allow for easier thumb roll kinda like a front flipper. It also lessens the amount my thumb rubs it when using the Spydie hole for a slow opening. (I also rounded off the little peak where my pinky lands but it’s not really worthy of a close up).

Re:
How did you do this to the Police? I may just have to pick one up and do this, It’s growing on me more every time I look at it.

Re: Show your mods!
Less of a mod, more of an add on...
So, I broke down and got an Ikuchi. Love the design but I’m really not a fan of wire clips. They move around in use and dig in something awful. I thought about an aftermarket clip but not only would that run me almost $100 on top of a $200 knife, (Canadian), but they don’t appear to leave much clearance for a jeans pocket. Please tell me I’m wrong anyone who has one, I may still need one if my little add on modification doesn’t hold up.
I took a little piece of bocote I had lying around and made a little insert. It keeps the meat of my palm from being poked by the ends of the clip as much. It’s still noticeable but not nearly as bad. Seems to add a little rigidity to the clip as well.

Took down the “bull noses” of these 2, and my FRN Chap. The Endura is more wharncliffey now, and the Chaps look better, to me.
- best wishes, Jazz.

What’s your favorite scales for the Urban?
(All scales are homemade)
I like the G10 the most.

Aramis Akhmedov scale designs are truly stellar and his execution is impeccable. I am a big fan of his work product...!
