If it isn't Spyderco should allow one like it to be made :) I would buy it :)

Suddenly I have the feeling that that zippo is gonna go from my "watch and intend to win" list to my "watch and watch go" list! Pity. :)

I have hoped spyderco would get with zippo since I've been into spyderco knives but I dont think thats legit, as Ive never seen one like that. but I'd definately buy one if they did make productions similar to that...

Given the seller, I'd say the chances of it being legit are about as good as my chances of hitting LOTTO this week if I were to buy a ticket.

Marking on the bottom indicates that it was made in 2002. Even if it is a fake it's been kept in pretty good shape. I'm looking down at my zippo right now that was made in 02 and it looks like ****. :)

I've seen three of these on ebay now over the last few years. The last one sold for over $100

Not an expert on zippos but if it was a real Spyderco Zippo wouldn't the box have a mention of it?
All the box says is 275 BR LOSSPROOF which is the serial for a regular brushed chrome zippo with a lanyard.
Zippo MIGHT be real but the bug might be an aftermarket job at least.

I noticed that too, usually the barcode includes some kind of idea what the zippo has on it..

Just think how easy it would be to open a zippo if it did have a spyderhole.
