Help finding a thread about swapping a G10 scale on a Ti Military

#1

Post by PSU »

I recall seeing a thread where someone swapped a G10 scale for the non-locking scale of the Ti Military. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could direct me to that thread. I searched for the it without any luck.

Thanks!

I did some swapping with a carbon fiber scale, I dont recall seeing a g10 swap. I always had the intention of going back and fixing the swap to where it was smooth but when I put the Ti slab back on I flared the lanyard tube. That and the Knifeworks m4 millie is doing the swapping for us. :D

Has anyone done this successfully, or is there an inherent design difference between the G-10 and RIL Millies? If so... PICS are in order!

That's the one, thanks. I have a Ti Millie on its way and I'm already thinking about making a scale swap. I am cautiously optimistic after reading your thread, but I definitely think it's worth a try.
