Ramblings after ten years of Spyderco (short, as ramblings go)

Hey all,
No I haven't been a forum member for ten years, but I realized got my first Spyderco knife about ten years ago. I was 14 and my cousin had asked me if I was familiar with Spyderco because he knew I liked knives (had since I was very young) and he had a Military. I wasn't and I immediately logged onto the website. I didn't have any money or a credit card to order one online but as soon as I saw that bright orange Rescue Mini and those serration's I had to have one! I convinced mom to order it for me :D
It's long gone, and I've had countless Spydies since. There's been time where my entire collection was Spyderco, and it's always been the majority, even now that my collection is quite small compared to what it used to be; I hardly have any, something like 10.
These days, like most, I see the Military as the epitome of Spyderco design. I still go  when someone has one. I currently don't have one and I realized it must be corrected. I still see it as one of the best go-to knives I've ever had. Coming up close behind would be my Spyderedge Endura 3 FRN. It's a classic. I don't really like the E4 but I have the USN model for collection sake.
That being said I still am amazed by the endless innovation. The new models always impress! Can't wait for the FRN UKPK and FFG D4/E4 those colors are sick!
Anyway, what I'm getting at is that after a decade of wandering all over the knife world I have two constants: A Sebenza and Spyderco, both of which I consider equals for different reasons, and that's saying something when a $100 knife challenges a $400 knife for my pocket. :D
What is it about this brand that always keeps me coming back? Sometimes I forget that other brands like Emerson, Kershaw, and Benchmade even exist! They just don't have the same qualities that make Spyderco so great. I just feel like a Spydie could never fail me when I need to cut something.
I'm sure I will have at least one Spyderco at any given time for the rest of my life.
Cheers!
***Edit:
I'm obviously getting a Military. But I can't decide between a leaf blade UKPK or drop point UKPK. Help! Also, looks like the Caly 3 is still in production? I thought it was discontinued.
