Ive actually spoken to Michael about this myself. Last time we talked he hadnt submited the design to Spyderco. Maybe he has now, I would love to see him do it. He is a great guy, and Id love to see him doing some collaborations. I told him to send me one and id get it to Spyderco to check it out, but he hasnt done it yet :) darn! I know he is super busy right now, got a kid on the way, and alot of big projects in the works. But I'll point this thread out to him and let him know.

The ones he sends out on his mailing list are typically anywhere from 450-750 dollars.
From his site...
"I do not want my backlog to get too far out, so at the moment I am not taking anymore new orders. I will still be offering knives for sale through the mailing list and through these dealers:

Pros
- Wicked designs
- Customer service
- Price ( Great bang for the buck )
- True custom maker ( Will fit the knife to the customer and not the customer to the knife)
In the custom knife world I doubt you will find someone comparible.
take care
aj
p.s If you stop taking order it usually means your populaaaaaaaaar :D

I have long thought that a natural in the spyderco Little Big Knife lineup, would be the Burchtree Chubby. I can guarantee sales of at least a half dozen. :D In addition, from all of the folks that I have contact with, Burch is a good dude. In my line of work, that is the highest of compliments. Bring on the Spyderco Chubbies.
