Some positive personal news !! UPDATE !!

#1

Post by Tank »

I have been unemployed now for just over a year and of the thousands of resumes I have submitted never even got a call back. Well, that just changed. I submitted one Wednesday to a local company, got a call Thursday and went on an interview today and it went really well. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will finally land a job.

Update: I just got the call a little while ago and I am now going to round two interviews tomorrow. I am very excited :D
Thank you all for the kind words of support.

All the best!

GOOD LUCK!!! but:
consider working from home as well, say at nights. i work as a pharmacist during the day from 10-4pm and then work doing medical billing and coding at night 3 times a week. two pay checks :) and i can do it in my underwear smoking relaxing watching tv eating internet etc... or stuff envelopes or e-marketing or any number of at home jobs.... easy work for average pay in between while your searching for a normal day job

Tank since I lost that great job I had working in those wetlands I was working at I've been doing several different jobs and none of them seem to last long at all and I've also sent enough resumes to wall paper the Grand Canyon myself

Don't feel alone Sir :) I just spoke to a manager of a fast food eatery here in the town I live in. He has an engineering degree and lost a job making well over 6 digits a year and is doing this fast food job just to get by till he lands another job in his field.

I just spoke to a good friend this morning who is still working for a company that he has worked for about 3 years and now he's down to only 20 hours a week>> and needless to say his bills are not getting paid.

It's not you! It's just a miserable recession and the people just have to stick together till this storm is over. I have no doubt that things will turn for the better for you and your family. Please keep us posted. And Please everyone try and buy Made In USA goods :)
