I currently only own a plain-edge zytel Native.

I'm quickly becoming a spyderco fan. Could anyone suggest what my next purchase should be?

I don't like liner locks or plastic pocket clips.

I would suggest either the delica or endura, depending on your size preference. They're not the most expensive and they are 2 of the most basic spydies.

PsychMajor,
If finances allow, I would suggest that you purchase either the G10 Native or the Forum Military, or both.

Then pick up production models as $$$ allows. Beyond that, I agree with "hat", no collection is complete w/o Delicas and Enduras, great tools also.

Sound advice on the Endura/Delica!
I like collecting the collaboration models.
Wegner, Terzuola Starmate are two that I think are great knives from Spyderco
Centofante & Viele - beautifully made. And the upcoming Vesuvius was designed by Mr. Viele.
Then the "classics" Military (and upcoming Military,Jr.) Police, Rookie.
The "specialized" Civilian & Matriarch....
So MANY GREAT ones to add to your collection! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Well all these guys are right. But it also depends on what you want it for. This is a much discussed topic but I personally think the Calypso Jr. lightweight is one of the best daily carry knives made out there. Can't go wrong with one.
