Seems like everyone out there is making kydex sheaths for their mules, although there are a few nice custom leather ones.
My question is--has anyone seen a good compatible cordura-type sheath, or does anyone have experience working with/sewing this material? There are some good ones out there, but all for blades considerably longer than the mule (5-7 inches mostly). I've debated buying a long one and chopping it off/sewing it back up to fit the mule, but I'm not sure if the material is too thick to sew by hand.
