Show off your Aqua Salts...

I want an Aqua Salt, in the worst way.
I have wanted one for a very long time, like before they came out, but the time has not yet come...
So, to sate my appetite for the Aqua Salt, to slake my thirst for it's goodness....
Maybe you fine folks could post yours up?
Thank you,
Marion

Not exactly solo, but it's the only pic I have of it.

Is this something one would consider as a kitchen knife?

I've used it as a kitchen knife. It is a little thick to get really fine slices(a chef's knife would be better), but you could send it to Tom Krein for an FFG regrind. Then it would be one heck of a slicer.

I need to take new photos. I gave all the knives in the photo thinner and cleaner edges.
The aqua salt makes a great kitchen knife if you thin the edge bevel some. It ships with an edge that's a bit thick for fine food prep. Probably the best kitchen knife I've used that's not an actual ktchen knife. Closest thing to an H1 kitchen knife so far.

You're not supposed to play with it...you're supposed to use it!
If it gets dull and gets resharpened, you're doing the work hardening for me. :D

Oh, now I see... The machinations behind your move become clear....

That's definitely part of it.
I'll be honest and tell you that I haven't taken the time to really even play with mine, much less use it. I've been too busy playing with the Mules to take much time with the Salts.
But mostly, there's no better way to form an opinion than hands on experience. That's how I've gotten about 30 people now to buy Spyderco's with their own money. If there was only a way to get a bit of a kickback...

Wouter, thank you so much for sharing those shots! As a great fan of yellow tools, I think those are pretty much the best knife photos ever taken. :)

Very nice Wouter. Nice collection of yellow. May I ask where you found the lanyard ring on the surefire? Can the belt clip on the sheath be turned for horizontal carry? Take care.

I'm hard-wired to get black handle with PE or somthing first but at the great price these can be had for the yellow SE will be added to the collection soon. I don't have enough good things to say about the one I have so far. I like it as much as some of the other larger knives and not just bang for the buck, matched up evenly regardless of price.
I'll edit this later when I have a pic or two of mine to add but I had to agree that you can't go wrong with any combination choice with this great knife.

Here's my black PE with new Kydex as of this evening. I know it's functional, but I just couldn't stand the factory sheath.

The lanyard ring is part of the Surefire lanyard, I just replaced the paracord from grey to yellow. The belt clip can be switched for horizontal carry and a dozen or so other positions.
Nice kydex JLS, who made that sheath?
