Concealex for the H1 Warrior

#1

Post by Mike Sastre »

I've got a long history with sheaths for the Warrior series of knives and have had a few people asking for them. Pretty busy right now, but managed to sneak in a prototype with the other sheaths I was doing today. Should have some of these available soon. Features Spyderco's G-clip.

Very nice

Hey Mike....do you have a street beat in house that you can use to make sheaths or do you need those sent in?

Hi Mike,

Looks great.

When you get a chance, would you send one to me and bill me?

MrCharlie,

Been doing Street Beats since they first came out, so no need to send your knife. A number of threads have got pictures if you search around.

No problem, Sal. Got shows this weekend and next, so shop time is short, but you'll get one of the first.

Mike,

Beautiful Work.

And on a difficult knife to sheath... Real skill there.

I love it, it really looks like it was a match made in heaven with the Warrior. I also want to be in line to buy one when they are ready!!

I don't suppose this is anywhere near being offered, is it Mike?
Should one send you a note though your website, or just hang tough for a while?
(Also posting to move this to the top, I've seen some people asking sheath questions).

Very nice! That is the style I'm working on but have been busy and there is no way I turn one out as fast as you. The reason my first sheath style is planned to look so similar is becauase I did of course buy your Kitchen Kydex instructional video. :D

If I come up with anything that is signficantly different as well I'll post them here for anyone that has interest.

If you had enough to take orders I would get one of yours in addition to the one or two I plan to make so I could have one now and have a sheath you made. Thanks for the pics.

One thing I've noticed is that one of the sheaths I made fits differently (release tension-wise) on three different Warriors. Still trying to resolve this with limited shop time between shows. Trying to get things so I'll have a generic fit, although some knife designs/executions require individual fitting. Hope the H1 Warrior doesn't fall into this category. If it does, knives will have to be sent in.
