What is your "Fall Back" or "Ol' Reliable" EDC?

What is your one or two knives, Spyderco or other, that no matter what you rotate through, you always come back to it?

For me, it's a pairing of the Endura 4 and Delica 4.

Whatever blade style, it doesn't matter. I love the ergos on the handles and the blades, love the FRN, and I love the shapes of the blades themselves.

To me these are the work horses of Spyderco and their look and appearance is what certainly typifies current Spyderco knives.

The Endura 4 does sit a little high and fills the pocket, so days I want something else, like today, I carried the Delica 4.

Ive only been in this Spyderco collecting game for a year but have amassed a large collection so far.

I do love the old Worker series and would love one, but they are hard to find.

A Sgt. of mine has one that is over 20 years old, plain edge, stainless steel handles, and it is well used. The blade shape is gorgeous, and you can see where the evolution of the Delica/Endura has come from.

Thats probably why Im still so attracted to the Stainless Delica and Enduras.
A throw back to the older models.

I have many Delicas and Enduras in varying blades, steels, and colours in the Gen 4 line up. And many more to come.

So my pick for this is the Delica. Love it.

FRN Caly Jr. as runner-up

I'd probably use my large Calypso (C54) more if I wasn't paranoid of using a "collectible."

Millie variant or D4 variant.

Lately, it's also been my Emerson Horseman. Great knife as well, that keeps finding it's way back into my pockets along with my Spydies.

Blue PE Dodo. Something about that knife that just refuses to sit in a drawer for too long.

Sage 2. I've only been in the Spyderco game for about a year too but since I got it it's always been the one I come back to.

Your knives are beautiful, Brad. The blade shape on both of those is awesome.

Delica 4 and Ritter mini-Griptilian are my two go-to EDC blades. They are both compact, reliable with good steel, great blade shape and very good ergonomics.

I constantly return to the BG-42 Military. And my FFG Delica gets the duty when i need a smaller knife, which goes to show that even though I hate the color, it's design is strong enough that I can ignore the color.

For around the office and shops, I always used to find myself coming back to the Caly 3. Now, however, the Strech has been my go to knife.

When i am out doing more rugged work, the Millie reigns supreme.

I always carry one knife that can be opened with one hand, such as Bob T or my Mike Obenauf/Krein regrind Bandit. And I always carry a whittler. Usually a Lowell Oyster handmade or sometimes a Case Seahorse. There are also times when I get the itch to add my Yojimbo.

My edc carry is usually a frn Stretch. The fall back knives are always, my D2 Para or a Tenacious.
