Walk in the woods with Jazz and friends
Walk in the woods with Jazz and friends
Beautiful Fall day - went for a walk down by the river...
Tasman PE (I love this knife) and Atlantic PE Wharncliffe hanging out:
Hey, where'd I put that Tasman?! Good thing for yellow handles!
Doing one of my favourite passtimes in any season - whittling, and a knife that does it well:
A great knife - sorry, the rest of my Stretch pics didn't turn out:
And a couple of posers in Autumn splendor:
Thanks for lookin' and sorry I don't have a better camera/skills. :o :)
- best wishes, Jazz.

It's the Oldman River outside of Lethbridge. I'll bet you have a bit of nice scenery yourself - and thank you.Doc Pyres wrote:Nice photos, Jazz. You have great camera skills, IMO. What part of Alberta is that? I'm from BC and I have friends in Calgary. I've been to Alberta a handful of times and have always loved it, but I don't know the province nearly as well as I'd like.

Another walk - whittling and birdwatching...
Finally had a calm day here - it gets seriously windy in the Fall in Lethbridge  Sure cleaned the leaves off the trees. Anyway, I just took a few pics today...
Here's my new black Tasman hangin' out...
Stretch...
Stretch doing some relaxing whittling...
My Atlantic Salt Wharnie trying to get away - it almost did because the chunk of ice was threatening to float away down the Oldman River...
Bonus pic of some Common Redpolls eating Birch seeds...
Thanks for lookin'.

Walk with a Wegner
Took my very 1st Spyderco for a walk today. This knife feels so good in the hand - it's amazing!
Bonus pic of a Hairy Woodpecker pecking on my sitting log - sorry, close as I could get, and don't have great zoom...

If I found that many Spydecos scattered throughout the forest, I would adopt them all! Nice pics!

A fine February day...
Took along my Atlantic Salt Wharncliffe...

I think this is a Yellow Warbler's nest - tiny little thing..
... bonus pic of my friend again - I almost always see 2 of these guys...
Thanks for lookin'.

D4 mod and Salt 1 mod for a walk...
If it wasn't windy enough to blow me back to Saskatchewan today, it would have been nice but I went for a walk anyway. Took along my D4 - it's been hogging my pocket for over a week - I quite like it. Salt 1 came along too...
Thanks for lookin'.

Nice pics. I went for my first spring woods walk yesterday. The Ramps are really starting to take off and I saw a few Dutchmen's breeches coming up. The spring wildflowers should be coming soon in NE Ohio. Looks like you have a bit of winter to go yet Jazz. I am going to have to do an Atlantic Wharnie one of these days. I just love yours every time I see it.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
