I've purchased a couple of times from Cornerstore with no problems. No info on the other.

I've used yourcornerstore. I thought shipping was expensive and it took them a few days to ship out the knife after I ordered, but good other than that.

I love yourcornerstore. I have purchased several knives through them. The only problem I encountered was when I was trying to order my orange millie through them. What had happened was my order went through but it said It didn't, and I didn't get an order confirmation or anything. (I knew my card was good though) So I called my bank and they said the order had been received as my account was showing the amount missing. I called yourcornerstore for an explanation and they said it was their fault and remedied the problem immediately and I got my millie in 3 days paying for the USPS shipping. They were extremely helpful and seem to always have great prices. I will still use them because that issue was a minor one and the service I received was top notch!

I've bought fron YCS before, used 3 day shipping and it came in exactly 3 days. They do have the best prices on the net.I've heard stories though of people ordering from them and shipments never being shipped because they had 0 in stock and didn;t say that on there site, or it takes over a month to reach some people. Also heard they don't respond to e-mails.
I've had nothing but great service from Knifeworks and Knifecenter, i would try them, But thats just me.

Another one I've used and had a good experience with is notyourmamasknives.com. Their site is a bit goofy but they have good prices and service.

I have also bought from YCS. I had no problems with them. The shipping estimates are pretty spot on as long as you pay attention to when they actually ship. I think that when I used them it said they didn't ship on Mondays or Wednesdays. That may have changed.

If anything, their low prices make up for it. But what you said isn't true anyway; their shipping is some $7, which, the last time I checked, is the same price as Knifeworks' shipping which is ~ $2 cheaper than NGK's.

Let us know when it arrives and what you think of YCS and the Knife :)

Sorry I don't have any experience with the other two companies, but $7 seems high to me considering how much you can ship for $4.95 using Priority Mail. It's not a big deal though, especially when you're buying a $70 or a $170 dollar knife. I think that they use UPS too if I'm not mistaken, which is always more expensive and if they do then yeah $7 is pretty reasonable.
You're right about their low prices, I just felt that their shipping time could have been a bit better considering the cost of shipping. It sounds like everyone else has had great experience with their shipping times, though, so maybe I ordered right before one of the days they apparently don't ship or something.

Actually, they give you the option of either UPS or USPS. For me in Ohio, shipping for one knife is $6 for USPS priority and around $10 for UPS ground. IIRC, they ship from California.

YCS can sell at barely over wholesale, since they have zero overhead aside from their website. They are, for all intents and purposes, a retail front for Moteng. They, and places like them, allow Moteng to do an end run around the prohibition Spyderco has against distributors selling directly to the public.

Well, this ought to be fun! Because I just bought the one SE Spyderhawk left in stock too! It changed over to 0 in stock after I paid. :D
Hmm, just went back and looked at the page again. Now it says 1 in stock again!
Also, I reviewed my order and see that they threw in a handling fee that was not mentioned earlier. I don't really mind the $1.00, but I DO prefer to know about it BEFORE it is tacked onto my card!

I guess we shall find out, hopefully they were both in stock and neither will have to wait.
I wasn't thrilled about the dollar handing fee, but the shipped price is still below the cost on other sites.

Shipping a small package with USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance for 100-200$ costs 8.95$, IIRC.

Yes, hopefully. I tried calling them to find out, but even though it
IS within their posted
business hours, all I get is a recording. Guess we'll have to hope for the best. :D

The fee didn't really bother me as much as finding out about it
AFTER my order was placed.
