It is sad new indeed. I enjoyed most of his movies a lot, and quite a few of them watched several times. He will be missed.
Rest In Peace Patrick.

He'll always be Dalton from Road House to me.

Just saw him two nights ago in Keeping Mum, an English black comedy with Maggie Smith and Rowen Atkinson. Swayze played an obnoxious American using the same over the top American accent that you often see British actors doing when they can't get it right.

One of my favorite actors and from what I have seen an all around great guy. Any actor who stays maried for almost 40 years has to be an all star. I like to think maybe he went out now just to spare his fans from the 24/7 MJ covrage on every channle.

He had an incredible role in the cult hit Donnie Darko. Very creepy.
Anyone ever see the SNL Chip and Dale's skit he did with Chris Farley? There have been few times in my life I've laughed that hard.

The guy could pull off dead serious in one moment and then be a complete bafoon in another. Watching Red Dawn as I type.

Rest In Peace, Patrick.
I liked the guy, he was a great actor and seeme to be a real-deal guy in real life.
I also liked him in Uncommon Valor, Roadhouse and Red Dawn. And you're right; that clip with Chris Farley was hilarious.
You'll be missed, sir.
