Although it took several months for me to get my girlfriend to appreciate my knife hobby, if finally worked! For our 2 year anniversary she decided she would get me a Spyderco knife. She wanted to choose so I gave her a list of about 8 Spydies that I liked and she picked out the Bob T. Slip-it. :) This is my first Spyderco Slip joint knife and I must admit I was a bit hesitant even asking for it. But after playing with a buddies UKPK I decided it wouldn't be that big a deal if it didn't lock. It has actually been my edc knife for a few days now and have had no problems with the fact it doesn't lock. When you make a cut with it you forget that it's a slip joint at all! The knife's fit and finish is flawless as you would expect from a Spyderco knife. The back spacer is carbon fiber as well and is very smooth and matches the rest of the knife. It is very light weight yet very sturdy and feels very at home in your hand.
The only feature I am undecided about as of now is the leather lanyard at the end. I have read others have cut it off and then sanded the hole down to be flush with the rest of the back spacer. I may have to do that but as of right now the lanyard isn't causing that much of a fuss for me.

Just thought I would take a few pics of it alongside a sage to share :) I will try and get some better pics up, because I know these are not very good :o

Ya man the twill carbon fiber is definitely top notch. The Bob T. feels really light in your hands or in your picket but it also feels confident. When you need it to cut there is no second thoughts about the fact that it doesn't lock up.

Flick open the Terzuola. The sound it makes when opening is music. Maybe you saw my lanyard picture but the lanyard also adds weight at the end. That added weight is useful for spydi-drops.

I agree. This knife gets so much flack for being a slippie. I think once you hold it all that bias against it is forgotten. This knife is simply astounding. The fit and finish is stunning, and it feels so natural when you use it! I have not seen your lanyard pic, did you add your own? would you mind posting the pics in this thread? :)

That looks quite nice! I am thinking about either replacing the lanyard with one similar to yours, or just cutting it off and sanding down the hole flush to the backspacer... still not sure
