H1 Spyderhawk -- we await thee!
H1 Spyderhawk -- we await thee!
The release of the Chokwes has me a bit distracted... but I still haven't forgotten about the awesomeness of the upcoming H1 Spyderhawk!!! I keep imagining all the ways I'm going to put that blade to use up here... :D
I'm planning on getting four as soon as they become available... I figure, the opportunity to get this blade in this steel might never come by again.
Anyone else going to jump all over this knife??
:D

I see some dealers listing them for release this month. It is definitely an awesome blade, I will be getting at least two.
What's been giving me the Spyderhawk itch is the size of the Tazman. When the Tazman craze was going on, I picked one up expecting a good utility knife. Which it is, however, once you handle it you realize that it's almost a three finger grip knife (my pinky rests on the point at the end of the handle).
The Spyderhawk should give me the nearly Endura sized hawkbill that I've wanted from the start (and yes, I have and love the Superhawk as well).

Don't think ill jump on it  It has teeth :D I'll sure enjoy it though. The hawkbill ladybug is also one I have been hoping for for a long time. I like the superhawk, but it's toothless. I have a spyderhawk so the new one will be a new color and steel, but the hawkbill ladybug will be cool to handle for the first time. Take care. John.

My Merlin and Harpys eagerly await the arrival of their big brothers!
(Hopefully, AFTER we get the Forum knives taken care of. Only so much money to spend at one time!)

To be honest I'd go for any Spyderhawk. Even AUS-8! For EDC teeth the Cricket has me covered; the Spyderhawk fill a different (much bigger) role. I was tempted by the Superhawk, but it's not quite "wicked" enough to be my big toothy knife.

Well, it sounds like it is a bit late for pre-orders if they are shipping next week, but I've got mine ordered from catamount (http://spydercovt.com).Farmer Brown wrote:What site?

My next three knives are going to be three new colors for me:
Yellow - Spyderhawk
Blue - ZDP Stretch II
Purple - Forum Native
I'm glad I held off on the Tasman, because to me the Spyderhawk is better is every way.

Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
