New model announcements - "Persistence"

#1

Post by sal »

It seems that I have been negligent in making announcements of new models being released lately. My apologies. We have been a bit behind.

I would like to formally annouce that we have the Persistence model in house and it is shipping. SFO has some and dealers are being contacted.

The "Persistence" is a smaller version of the "Tenacious" model. It's made by the same maker.

Blade:
2.75" full flat
8Cr13MoV stainless
13mm opening hole
Spine jimping on spine behind opening hole

Handle:
Walker Linerlock
Black G-10 scales
Dual stainless liners
4 way stainless hourglass clip (no coating)
Screw construction

MSRP:
$49.95

Rock on! What a great price for a full flat ground blade with G10 scales!!!
Looking forward to picking one of these (and a tenacious) up in the near future!

Are there any pictures?

I like the 'sound' of this knife. I think the 2.5-2.75" blade size is an 'in-between' size that is lacking in the current lineup. Bigger than Dragonfly, but smaller than Delica. Like Urban-byrd Crow size: very useful in my opinion.

It is not out yet.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Sal did say SFO, the Spyderco Factory Outlet, has them. So, even though it's not in the online catalog yet, a call to them might get you one.

Might have to get a couple of these when I see a pic. Mini-military anyone?
