Wharncliffe G-10 Dragonfly?

#1

Post by catamount »

I really like the Wharncliffe blade on the orange Urban. At first, I didn't think the lack of a lock was a problem. After using it for a while, though, I find myself wishing for a similar sized Spyder with this blade shape and a lock.

How about a Wharncliffe version of the G-10 Dragonfly?

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

That, or a hawkbill. Sort of a shrunken-down Harpy, if you will. :)

i'm a big fan of the dragonfly, and wharncliffes... but that sounds pretty similar to the spin, IMHO.

The dragonfly is too small for me. I would love to see a Wharnie delica IV and a Wharnie Endura.

Folding knives can be classified in two large groups: Spydercos and the rest!

D'fly is a little too small for my mitts. I think something Caly, or Caly Jr sized Wharnie w/lock + G10, or FRN sounds pretty interesting though.

I would be happy enough just to see the regular G-10 D'fly come out first.
