Manix 2: Initial impressions vid up

#1

Post by Firebat »

Posted a brief walk-around of my Manix 2. If any one is interested, check it out http://tiny.cc/WJtvG .

(Ugh. The video quality really degraded in the post-processing. I can see where a camera that records in a better native resolution would be advantageous.)

Let me just say that that was a really good review and the video quality was perfect! I love my Manix 2 even though the lock is still a bit stubborn but this may be a good thing like someone already posted... :)

Good review and well filmed. While I will certainly order the Sage 2, I'm still on the fence for this one.

Great review and accurate!

I'm tired of seeing people blasting music and mixing up details. "it's got...um...vg10 handles". /dies

How can you call that a youtube review. You didn't use the word, "dude" even once. You failed miserably at sounding like you were the ultimate authority on all things sharp. You forgot to ramble endlessly about your extensive wilderness experience. You spoke about "opening" the knife. Don't you know you are always supposed to "deploy" your folders?

Lastly, just in case irony, doesn't fly here, I loved your review. I just bought a Manix 2 and am waiting for it to arrive. Thanks for your take on the knife.

:D Thanks!

I'm planning to do a couple more this weekend. Also, I sort of want to update that Manix review with a couple of additional points. Just read on this forum that the Manix 2 uses a sort of Sebenza-esque pivot bearing. Even more impressive for the street price!
