Blade show captain

#1

Post by Lord vader »

I ran across on what i think was a good deal on the captain,It`s in new condition and doesnt show any signs of bieng used at all and it didnt have the box which doesnt make any difference to me, the vendor at told me he would take 100.00 dollars for it so i could not resist. I went ahead and bought it, so did i get a good deal on this or could i have done better?

I think you got a deal. I usually see them for around $125 or so. Unless you consider the box to be worth $25. Nice score, vader :)

sounds like a decent deal, I traded a Sage for one (although it has a nice horizontal carry leather belt sheath with it too). Great knife, and no box doesn't mean anything, this knife BEGS to be used.

I have not tried it yet but from some of the other posts i read it`s not much different technique than sharpening any other knife.I would also love too see a video of someone sharpening one.

I just did both blades as 2 seperate blades on the corners of the SM, just like I do Tanto blades, worked fine. I need to do it again with the ole sharpie trick to see where I'm shifting my wrist....
