Is the titanium handled military in the works a frame lock? Also will the blade be S30V?

This was posted by Sal on the Bladeforums:

From its original concept, the Militry was our original "mule". The knife was designed to be a user, not a colllection piece. The different steels and handle materials are a good way to test on a user model.

We are certainly going to make different variations of the military in our Golden plant. New steels, handle, etc.

The TiMil is currently in pilot.

I underlined a small but important word. Don't change to a "maybe" or "eventually". Let the Ti-Miltary become reality, Sir ... please. Thanks in advance from an aficionado :)

Will it still have a G10 or CF front scale or maybe be the same specs so one could change them around?

I'm glad this model is all titanium. I prefer uniformity.

Personally, I don't get the appeal of "half-and-half" handles - of course, I don't care much for CE blades, either. ;)

Just makes it a bit grippier is all...Ti's kinda slick unless they add some kind of texture to it. Either way I'd buy one.

Oh yea, theres the feel of Ti that I love. My A.T.R. is another fave that I can't put down. I really enjoy the texture of titanium and very light weight. :D
I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Actually, all Ti isn't that bad there are plenty of modders out there that are more than capable of making a CF or G-10 scale. Just wait till I post my review of my new G-10/SS ATR...

Sal,
Is this going to be a regular production model or is it just going to be a sprint run? Also is the MSRP going to be similar to the G10 mili or more of the likes of the bg-42 and s90v milis?

Any idea what the ETA should be on this one? That Ti Millie and the Sage 2 are way on top of my wish list.
