Delica G-10 PE, Sage PE, or Caly 3 PE???

I am trying to decide between the 3 and was curious what y'all think. I really like the linerlock design of the Sage, but have never actually had one in hand to thoroughly inspect for function/rigidity.

Out of your list I have only Sage and Caly3. I have strong preference to the blades with 50/50 finger choil, especially with size of 3" and less.
Both of this knives have outstanding fit and finish, came very sharp out of box, have good, solid lockup, very comfortable in the hand, I love their low riding wire clip. I like Sage and I love Caly3, my faithful EDC for more than two years. I love the shape of the blade on Caly and I don't on Sage, but this is very subjective.
You will be happy with any of them.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

Personally the Sage is my favorite of these 3. The linerlock is very smooth and the handle is just a tad bigger than the Caly 3, so it fits my hand comfortably. The CF on the Sage is nice and grippier.

The Delica is excellent and is a workhorse, but it fits a different purpose in my collection.

If you like the Sage by all means get it. Top shelf materials, excellent fit and finish, rock soild lockup.

I say if you like everything about the Sage, but wonder about function and rigidity then you have already decided. I have never bought a :spyder: that had a major malfunction. They are production knives, so mistakes can and occasionally do happen, but they are few and far between. Buy with confidence :) :)

I have two of each. The SAGE hands down. It's the most near perfect knife there is. The carbon fiber has a slight texture and feels a little grippy.
As for strength, do a search and find the thread that displays the "inards".
The telling item is the standoff's are recessed into the liners. The stop is solid steel and recessed into the liners. (Most standoff's are just flush with the liner.) This knife is going nowhere.

:spyder: :spyder:  :spyder: :spyder:I have the Caly3 and the Delica/G-10, and I LOVE my Caly3's(3) But, due to the fact that I don't own a Sage, my choice being the Caly3 is also highly subjective, and as it has been well said, you can't go wrong with either one...IT'S SPYDERCO  :)

I have a Caly 3 CF, and it is a smooth, elegant, and supremely ergonomic knife. When I carried the VG-10 version I had the same great impression of the knife being a supreme cutting tool with a nice thin edge for great cutting performance. The Sage definately has beautiful CF and a nice lock and blade, but I just prefer the Caly 3. You should hold each in your hand and see which one you like best. The Sage is definately well built and a tremendous value, but I just think the Caly 3 is a great knife. Most seem to disagree with me, but again I think you should put your hands on a knife and feel the grip and look it over prior to buying it if you can. I personally don't think you will be disappointed with any of the knives you listed. If you could spare the extra cash (these days it is hard to do for sure) I would go for the Caly 3 ZDP, the steel is just a huge step up compared to the others and it is IMO an all time classic knife.

My first preference of those knives would be the Caly 3. It is, in my mind, the perfect knife.
