Since the Native has already been a forum knife, I doubt they would repeat.

I was the first one to predict the RIL Sage, so if that's it send the press and admiring throngs to my house. Also still think the new Tenacious little brother is the logical choice for a really low priced forum knife.

Kristi must look at this thread and smile to herself daily ;) . We have the imaginations of kindergartners, creating our dream forum knife when it seems like they already have a good idea of what it will be. It is fun though, you're never too old to dream...
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I was really skeptical about Chokwe, but after Wouter's video I want it badly.

Same here, that knife looks like a cutting machine.

I just hope that whatever knife it is it is left hand friendly, there are several southpaws on the forum and it would be a shame to exclude us from getting the forum knife.

EXACTLY what I was just thinking. I'm a patient guy, but man, this is killing me. I just want to know what it is and put my name on the list for one. I don't care how long it takes to come out, I just want to be able to sleep at night :p

This is great! Count me in. It's been awhile since we've had a Spydie Forum knife. Which one was the last one? Was it the Lava in 06 ?

I wish the guys @ spyderco would pick 6 knives or so and just throw a poll up for everyone to vote on. That would be fun

Did you see what the last Military Forum knife went for on the bay? $391.78
Of course, this was a 440V Millie with a bug on the handle but...hey, look! It was a mainstream (albeit high-end) knife with desirable steel and a unique handle. What did it go for in 2000? Etching on the blade just isn't enough. I have a laser etcher at my work  . There are a lot of really nice knives coming out in the near future. This thing needs to be special to even get MSRP.

After watching Wouter's IWA videos, I think the two front-runners for forum knife are the Stretch II in blue FRN or the Manix II with a Spyder inlay in the G10. These two knives are in the running because these are much lower cost versions. I'd be thrilled with either, or the green G10 Dragonfly with a Spyder inlay, for that matter.
