I'm sure there is a thread like this somewhere else, I just couldn't find it. Anyways I would have to say my favorite knifes other than my Spydercos are my Microtechs.

Based on what I actually own, I'd have to say my second fav would be Sebenzas. I've got more of those than any other single brand except Spydercos. They seem to be more a collector's item for me, though. I most often carry a Spyderco (usually my Caly 3), and I always, without fail, reach for a Spydie when there's a chance the goin' could get tough.

Dale

For me its Emerson, but I normally just keep my Emersons in the drawer because if I wave my Comrade or CQC-8 out in an urban area, people will be freaked out.

For EDC and everyday chores nothing and I repeat NOTHING IS BETTER THAN SPYDERCOS :spyder: :spyder: :spyder: Esp my orange UKPK and the folige green :spyder: teeth Delica

Not a fair question, since I only have one other knife other than Spydies. It's an old (1991?) Benchmade AFCK with opening hole similar to Spyderco...ATS34 steel, combo edge, black G10, walker liner. Very smooth, good ergos. Looks just like the newer Pikas, but quality is waaaay better.

I've thinned my herd substantially since finding spydercos. I used to have rather a scattergun attitude to knife buying. The only other brands I tend to buy these days are Blade-Tech and Byrd. Not exactly a massive departure really! ;) :D

It would be a toss-up between SAKs and my Seb, based on knives I currently own. Striders would find their way on the list if knives other than ones I currently own could be counted.

Zero Tolerance. I think it's mainly done by Kershaw, but Also designed by Strider. I especially like their fixed blades, but the folders rock also.

I like a few CLB Bokers. I have a Blade Tech mouse that gets into rotation. Really its all about the Spydies for me.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I have a mini-griptilian that I like.

I wish Blade-tech would bring back the Wegner mouse in S30V, with the current selection of colored handles.
