If by "blades" you mean exactly that (i.e. a stockman counts as three since one knife has three blades) your poll won't cover my average per pocket. :D
Multi bladed knives count as one. Sorry. :)

Well I put down 2... an average of sorts...

General EDC :Para D2
Work 1: RRP Para , IWB Caly Jr, Utility belt - Chinook & Large retractable box cutter.
Work 2: RRP Para or IWB caly jr for sheeple days & leatherman on utilty belt. (could really do with a small electricians type hawkbill here...)
Work 3: RRP Para or if beater is needed a BM551 or Native SE

In addition to that there's always my Mercator in my ""Manbag" along with a SAK that I got on 15th birthday ( I can honestly say that has only every been used to open wine :D ) plus any knives that haven't been put away yet...

Well, in that case...

The poll does cover the average per pocket. But only because carpenter jeans have a lot of pockets. ;)

......what's most impressive to me is that you actually use all that you carry; they're not "just is case".

When I'm not going to work (a junior high school), I carry my Centofante I and my etched Cricket (as a money clip). Oh yeah, I have a small Victorinox on my keychain, too. Oops, I only put two on the poll... :o

I Love it !!! Mine is the SS version, the Ti one goes for a very pretty penny... It is very simple in design, works flawlessly (it's probably the smoothest opening Spydie I have), and great blade design. You should pick one up fer sure!!

Typically five or more. My standard EDC is...

My :spyder: s in the rear portion of the RFP and left end of the LBP.

Leatherman Skeletool in the rear portion of the LFP.

An Imperial Boy Scout pocket knife and Leatherman Micra inside of the LFP.

Boker 7474 Stockman inside of the RFP.

A Leatherman Super Tool 200 and Leatherman Crunch are constant companions on my belt.

Occasionally, I'll strap on a Buck 110 Folding Hunter to my belt as well.
