Hi FPH. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Titananium Police models were made twice.

The first time, they were made for a Mail order customer as an exclusive. As I remember, there were 500 pcs made...all were fully serrated.

The 2nd time, Spyderco made them as a "Sprint". also 500 pcs were made, but made with a 50/50 edge.

Both were made with Gin-1 steel.

Hey Sal, My titanium Police has an ATS-34 fully serrated blade. I think that all the ones from the Cutlery Shoppe were ATS-34. I know that the 2 I purchased were.

I have Three, Two NIB and one carried. All are ATS-34 with 50/50 or they may have called it 60/40 blades.

Thanks guyz, I've had one of these knives for quite some time, and even thought I knew it was a limited issue i have always wondered how limited and if it was collectible or not.

I was wondering if I could send this knife in for a "tune-up" including sharpening and possibly polishing the handle etc, etc.

Thanks,

Hi TorNado. Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

Spyderco can Recondition the piece for you. Probably a small fee, but it will make the collectable more valuable.
