Pic Request: Delica 4 Wave and Native I

#1

Post by JustAnEDC'er »

Hey guys, I have a fairly specific pic request here, if you can't do it no biggie but I was wondering if anyone could provide a few comparison pics of the D4W, specifically the Waved model, and the Native I. I have a Native I and am looking at picking up a D4W but would like it to be a bit slimmer in the pocket with about the same cutting power. Can anyone provide a few pics of just the knives open, closed, and closed clip up? I can refer to the other D4 / Native comparison pic thread for the other angles but if anybody has these two knives, I would really appreciate a few wave specific comparison pics. Thanks!

I am not sure if this is the Native you are looking for, but here are some pics of one and a waved Delica.

Great comparison shots but I think the ergos on your Native are way better than a D4. I like a NIII better yet but yours is a terrific knife. If I wanted a slimmer carry, I'd look at a Caly 3. Better slicer and great ergos.

Ah thats exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Also, does anyone else also think the native is a better EDC than a D4W? I dont know, I used to really like the native but kinda want something different and the D4W with its steel liners, slightly thinner profile, and wave opening seems to offer something a little different in an EDC... I don't really have a big problem with the Native though, just looking for some variety. If anyone else has another pic to add, i'd be appreciative, thanks!

as of now i have an Olive drab delica w/ my name on it but its somewhere else bein shipped cuz i just ordered it today lol. so ive never gotten to use one. but the natives a **** of a knife for the price tag. its thicker and better for gripping and cutting, in my opinion. i have the 1st gen brk which idk if it even counts as a spyder but works just as great as one. also i recently picked up an all black SE native and i cant put that bad boy down :D
