Hi,

Long time I didn't post here. I'm currently working on my next exhibition, and since some of the newest pieces I will present are so to speak 'spydogamies' [origami spiders] - a work I called "Louise" in hommage to Louise Bourgeois, one of the most famous french-american living artist - I thought I should take some pictures of those spydies (folded) among some of my current EDC spydies (folders) and share it here...

Hope you'll enjoy ! :spyder: :) :spyder:

Those photos are great! The big spiders are really cool, but I'd bet the smallest ones are the hardest to make.

That special Ladybug was my buddy Fred Perrin's EDC for a while before I grabbed her from him (as many of his favourite blades... ;) )

He customized her his usual way (making her a nice functional easy and fast to deploy little blade) by adding wave & clip (clip came from another small folder or pen and was just pinned on the handle).

Here are some closer shots.

That is very nice and creative too. Excellent photos.

Question: did Louise Bourgeois also make the huge Spider statue I saw in front of the museum of art in Ottawa?

Thanks. Yes. the name of the one owned by the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa is "Maman" (Mom). There are 5 other ones of the same serie, so you can happen to meet the same travelling in a different part of the world. One is owned by the London Tate Gallery, one is in Bilbao, one in Tokyo and one was recently in Paris for a temporary exhibition (and then flew to the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art).

This other impressive one - "Crouching Spider" - was in Paris too during the exhibition.
