hey guys just curious to see your opinions on cold steels 6 inch ti lite

Big stiletto...13" overall. Solid knife, locks up nice and tight...real tough lock for a liner. Waves open extremely fast using the quillion to snag your pocket seam...if that's your thing. Mine was impressively sharp for a traditional stiletto grind, and if you are good with hones you can get it even sharper. I would get the Zytel scaled version, less dosh, less weight, much better grip retentiveness, and handles better than the newer aluminum scaled 6" model.

If you have a fondness for stiletto styling this knife should not disappoint you. Probably one of Cold Steel's better designs.

I find it too big for any practical use. Were I to get a knife of that size it would be a fixed blade.

I agree with SoCal. The 6" is very, very large and hard for everyday cutting chores. I have a 4" Titanium handled version and its is a very nice knife but there are much better options for utility work.

Nobody...and I mean *nobody*...owns a stiletto for any reason that I would even remotely call practical.

And anyone using a knife like this for "everyday cutting chores" is probably either in the wrong line of work, or lives in a pretty horrible neighborhood.

I actually would really like a fixed one with a better grip and guard. And steel. The narrow thick blade is so.. agile or something. I like saber grinds.

I owned one for about two days. This model was far too big and ungainly for me to carry around and use.

i have one. too big. don't use it, don't carry it. for AUS 8 it did come incredibly sharp. the 4 inch version also sees no use.

and unfortunately, i tried to sell them, planning on turning the money into a new spyderco purchase, and nobody was interested. not even a pawn shop.

Hmmm, Cold Steel. Not exactly my favorite company, but the Ti Lite is a pretty cool little piece. Not very practical by any means, but a cool knife none the less.

I never could even open the 4 inch version with the thumbstud. The six inch monster likely isn't any better. :p
