I got a new job!

#1

Post by TheKnifeCollector »

I have been home for a weeks from Alaska, and have been job hunting ever since. Well, I had a job interview last Thurs., and I got offered the position. But, I told them that I needed to wait until after the interview today.

Well, I had my second interview today. I talked with the HR woman, and there is call, as well as working every other weekend. On top of that, they couldn't come close to the $$$$ that they other hospital offered me.

When I got out to my truck, I called the hospital that offered me the job. I spoke with the HR woman, and she said she had more good news for me!! They are offering me a large sign on bonus!! I was already stoked about the job. Susan (the HR woman), gave me the # of Occupational Health to call to set up my pre-employment physical, and she told me to call her back when I had my appointment. I called and made the appointment after I got off the phone with Susan. I will be having my pre-employment physical on June 1st, and will taking my badge picture and sign more paperwork on June 3rd.

There are no words to describe how grateful & blessed I feel today!!!

Congratulations!
It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.
