Looking for: C04 Executive plain edge, C09 CoPilot plain edge with brass liners and a G-2 marked blade
fact is,you slice a peanut butter and honey sandwich with a thumbstud, axis lock knife, things are gonna get clogged and messy and you would wish you used a Spyderco with a nice big roundhole and lock back lockmech., rather to slice that peanut butter and honey sandwich, because its SO much easier to clean the Spydie, uknow?
But i like cramming as much as i can on a sandwich, and then slice through that monster sandwich with a SCARY sharp knife.Nuff said...
your not alone. Dont let everyone get to you because your not as up to date with the topic as they are. See with internet forums you have to be on the same page as the vets otherwise you will be made to look like a fool.
The thumb hole AND the thumb stud are, first and foremost, opening features. I'm not sure if a thumb stud was covered on the same patent as the depression and hole. If not, does anyone know who should get credit for the thumb stud? BM can reach more customers by offering both opening features on the same models. Spyderco could sell more knives if a thumb stud was offered on some or all models. I prefer the Comet Hole and I wish that it was offered on "real" Spyderco knives . I also eat a ton of peanut butter. I prefer Skippy extra crunchy.
Don't leave earth without some teeth. I carry a knife to open a can of worms.
