First model with Spyderco Hole license
First model with Spyderco Hole license
Got my license last year (need to renew in August), but didn't do a model with the hole until a few months ago. I dubbed this little blade the "Chubby" and it is 3 3/4 closed and is about 6 inches open with a 2 1/4 blade of 3/16 hollow-ground 1095. Has a .125 ti lock and G-10 with rayskin inserts. I didn't really want to mark up the blade so my maker's mark is only on the ti pocket clip.
I hope I did the hole justice! :)

Burchtree,
Great knives. I love the "Chubby". Got any pics of it closed?
I think it's real cool that Spyderco gives people a "license to drill" (under certain rules). I love seeing legal perfectly round holes in blades.
Cool forum name too. The Burch tree is one of my favorite trees and I have fond memories of them as a kid.
