I am just want of know what kind of handle under the black or yellow handle. Skeleton, solid, half tang, full tang?

Spyderco 2008 Product Guide says the Aqua Salt is Full-Tang.

The tang goes into the handle quite a bit, but it is not a full tang. A full tang would be exposed and visible. While it is not a very attractive model, the Aqua Salt is one tough fixed blade knife designed and built to take hard use.

I will also say that we've never had a problem with any of our injected handles.

I remember seeing an X-ray pic of a Temperance one time. Perhaps one of our EMT or hospital worker knife knuts could hook their brothers up. That would be

I'll have a few of these soon, hopefully.

I hope and expect the tang to extend at least to the lanyard hole in the handle. I would really like to see an exposed pommel on it, but I am sure I will enjoy it and use it extensively anyway. I am impatiently awaiting the arrival of the first two.

I disagree with Sal. IMO, it is an extremely attractive knife. That blade shape will work very well for me.

I don't post here much so while I'm at it, I'd love some other colors of FRN on the Salt series...foliage green, desert tan, coyote brown, maroon, hunter orange, blue, dark blue (navy), white, gray.

I have to disagree too, Mr Glesser. The Aqua Salt is one of the most handsome Spyderco designs I have seen.

I have ordered one as my dive/boat knife.
