digital camo Military

I saw a reference to a digital camo G10 Military being close to production in one of the 2008 Blade threads. Are there any pictures of this that could be shown?

You and me both. As well as many other forumites are just waiting for a peek at this Digital Camo. I'd really like to see it. Hopefully someone can sneak a photo in. :p

Don't have a photo, just want to repeat something I posted in another thread on this subject.

When pictures of it do get posted, try to keep in mind that, according to Kristi, no two knives will look exactly the same, and that they won't all have the same percentages of each of the colors, so the overall color of the knife can range from relatively light to relatively dark.

Will just add that, unlike figured wood, this material cannot be "bookmatched" so even the patterns on two sides of a given knife will be different, and possibly quite different.

This is not mean as a complaint, it's just a warning that, like natural material handles, there will be a tendency to feel "the other guy got a nicer looking piece". Of course, "the other guy" may be thinking the same thing when he sees yours.

I can vouch for the fact that the colors and patterns look very much like those in that uniform. If you can visualize that with roughly 1/32" square "pixels" of color, you will have a pretty good idea of what the DC Military will look like.

I hope we get a MultiCam Miltary as well down the road, if the pixel-cam one does well. Need one to go with the rest of the MC kit. :D
