A note to Sal & Gang re: Commemorative Worker

Back in 1981 I stopped in to check out a new, small storefront on South Golden Road. I came out with a Spyderco Worker and became a certified "knifenut". Since that day I've owned many, many Spydercos but lately have been into Benchmades, William Henrys and Sebenzas. I just acquired a Commemorative Worker and this knife is awesome! The fit and finish are flawless and rival that of my Sebenzas and William Henrys. The edge grind is perfect and I can't recall having a production knife this sharp out of the box.

My original intent was to keep it pristine in its' presentation case but this one I just have to carry! Too bad the run is limited to 1200, every knifeknut needs one.

Good Job!

I know what you mean.
For me part of the enjoyment of owning the knife is carrying it.

Hmmm ... I think I might be turning the corner from a user of knives to a collector. That commemorative Worker sounds mighty nice <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I remember that storefront on Golden Road.
Do you remember the Golden Crust Pizza place?
