Was bored on surveillance today and decided to see how quickly I could draw out my Endura wave from a seated position

I only hope that none of our government gets to see this.
Specialy the secretary of justice.
Don't want him to get any more of these smart ideas.

And if this doesnt work, you just stab the seat
As far as I am concerned, this aint failproof enough for me. But thanks for posting.

Ahh, another back pocket E4W carrier! I carry mine the same way and have found that I can deploy it successfully as well as any other :spyder: , seated or otherwise. Do you have it setup for reverse grip or are you changing grip on the presentation?
Thanks for posting the video. I've also played around with setting it up for left hand carry and clipping it on the inside (closest to my zipper) part of my left front pocket. I use it crossdraw that way with my right hand and it comes out in reverse grip. It sure is fun to play around with different presentation options with the waved models!

Don't think I wanna stab the seat and I don't remember saying it was failsafe either. Its just a video. Not the be all end all way of drawing a folder.
The knife is actually been drawn from my right handside front pocket in standard configuration. I just reversed the grip as I pulled it out.

In the Video Bok seems to ( and correct me if I'm wrong) be waving that Endura from his right front pocket...a difficult task from a seated position IMHO...I have found success by placing the Waved Endura in the left rear pocket of my jeans and a little lean forward with an innocent (looks like I'm tucking in my shirt) as I wave the Endura out into pikal grip position with my left hand. The technique is fast and positive....give it a try!.....Doc :D

funny you posted this,
I have a client who is a lawyer,
and he has been interested in knife combat,
with his occupation, he feels that it is a valuable
thing for him to learn.
Just the other day, I had him practice the wave from
a variety of positions, up against the wall, seated,
laying down, forward and reverse grips,
we discussed various types of pants, and what to
do when it failed.
he seemed to enjoy the class, I know for sure he
really likes the knife, in this case it was a
waved Karambit and a knife with a full crossguard.

Don't do it, don't do it. I was showing my wife how safe the waved Delica is and put about a 6" gash in the arm of my recliner. I only wave it open from a standing position now.
