Little Big Knives

#1

Post by telemeister »

You know, I'm really feeling the love from my Meerkat at the moment, and am looking forward to the delivery of my Dragonfly.

So what are your favourite little big knives?

Thanks Spyderco for the Little Big Knives! I'm so impressed!

I'm getting the FRN. I know this might be blasphemous to some, but I really don't like the stainless steel handles - I like the comfort and weight of other materials - that's just me though!

Onya Telemeister !

I have FRN and S/S version. I also had the etched version but stupidly got rid of it. D'OH ! I do carry the FRN one in pocket when wearing shorts, and the S/S one in jeans (rotating with other EDCs of course :) )

You'll love the Dragonfly mate.... then email me after you get it, cos I have some others that you may also like ;)

Cheers

Aloha and welcome telemeister!

datan is correct...you will love the D'Fly. (Yo datan, no worries bro, I didn't "forget". ;) )

My fave :spyder: LBK's are: D'Fly, Crickets, Nav II, Co-Pilot, Salsa, "S", and not sure if the Jester counts, but what the heck. :p

Oh yeah...and that model C110...what is it, the Lava? :D

;) Don't ask.... just wait. We'll leave it out of this thread, and I will make a new thread very soon ;) Don't want to contaminate this thread too much.

FWIW: My little big knives are:
Lava :D
Ladybug
Mini Persian (pushing the word little here aren't we?)
Dragonfly FRN & S/S

I wouldn't consider my Kopas to be little big knives though... they are to 'sedate'

Oh man. SS SE Cricket and Spin Etched!!! What incredible designs.

I carried my Spin Etched today and it served well. I just feel like it deserves a nicer lanyard!!!

I'm hoping for another LBK design in the near future.

Personally, now that I have a Cricket and Spin, I really don't enjoy carrying my Copilot. It's not very comfortable in the pocket due to the design of the handle. And when you clip it, the handle catches easily on things. It's still a superb knife and very ahead of its time.

I need to check out a Lava in person. Too bad it dosen't come in SE.

I gotta represent here for the SS Ladybug 3. This is a super little big knife- solid lock up and lightweight.
