Also, if you could put something in as a size reference, that would be helpful. Thanks again.

You are welcome! I would prefer the Mini-Manix over the Manix, as I like the handle ergonomics more and the difference in blade lenght is negligible.

I wrote "would" as my EDC is a Caly III ;)

*Whimper* DKPK... :(

I had an opportunity to purchase a Manix after they were discontinued, but at the last minute, I decided to get the Mini-Manix instead (since I thought the the Manix would be just way too much knife). I'm glad I did, as even the Mini is a handful! That thing is a tank!

I would be interested (and scared) to handle the Manix, just to get a feel for what the Juggernaut is really like. :D

Personally, I find the Manix more comfortable than the Mini in a normal grip, although the Mini is okay when I choke up on the choil. Here are a couple of different comparison shots.

I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

I find the Mini to be uncomfortable only when I use a grip where my finger is in the choil and my thumb is resting on the jimping. If I have my finger behind the choil, or if I move move my thumb farther down the blade, then I find it to be incredibly comfortable. ;)

When I opened the box with the Manix, my first reaction was: Holy S_ _ _! It was huge. I was going to send it back for the Mini, but then I started to mess with it and I got used to it very quickly. After a couple of days I started to carry it. Now it is in my regular EDC rotation. More often than not I find myself picking it over others. :spyder:
